The Horticultural Society of London (now the Royal Horticultural Society) was founded in 1804 to gather and share information about plants and improve horticultural practices. Its publication, Transactions, produced from 1812 to 1842, was the foremost British journal of its kind, with superb hand-colored engravings. These images, from the Museum’s collection, are the source for our beautiful, botanical print. Giclée print on archival paper. Mounted in a 1 3/8”-deep champagne-silver frame.
