Louis C. Tiffany
A master of many media, Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 18481933) was one of Americas most noted decorative artists at the turn of the twentieth century. Louis C. Tiffany achieved fame in his own right in interior decoration and for his innovative leaded-glass windows. He approached his work in glass with a painters eye for the nuances of color and shadow. Favrile glass was the perfect medium through which Louis Comfort Tiffany could express his unique blending of nature and exoticism.
